Dr. Mohammed Al Gadban

Dr. Mohammed Al Gadban was born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq. He received his medical degree from the University of Al Mustansiriyah, Baghdad, Iraq. He worked as a Senior House Officer at several of the Iraqi Ministry of Health teaching hospitals. He was then accepted into the Arab Board of General Specializations and finished two years of training in General Surgery at several of the Jordanian Ministry of Health teaching hospitals.

Dr. Al Gadban was thrilled to emigrate to the United States of America in August 2008. He started his U.S. medical journey by joining MUSC as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Cell Biology, Anatomy, Microbiology, and Immunology, where he published many scientific and clinical peer-reviewed research articles.

His passion and commitment to being a pediatrician started when he joined the Pediatric Clinical Trials Group at MUSC as a Research Program Coordinator. Dr. Al Gadban then completed his pediatric residency training at MUSC and graduated as a General Pediatrician.

His clinical interests include managing patients with Headaches, Asthma, Allergies, Constipation, Obesity, and Sports Injuries.

In his free time, he enjoys traveling, grilling, and being. He especially enjoys spending time with his wife, Hibah, and their 2 boys, Faisal and Fahad.
