Katie Kiesel

NURSE PRACTITIONER

Katie Kiesel is a local, who comes from the small coastal town of McClellanville, South Carolina.

After obtaining a Bachelor of Psychology at the College of Charleston and a Bachelors of Nursing from USC Upstate, Katie started her career as a registered nurse at MUSC Children's Hospital. While working there, she obtained a Master's of Science in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina to become a Nurse Practitioner in Pediatric Primary Care. 

After 10 plus years in pediatric acute care, Katie decided to join the Coastal Pediatric Associates family to focus on health promotion and maintenance of pediatric populations. Katie is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. 

Katie and her husband Chris live in Mt. Pleasant with their daughters Nora and Hadley. They enjoy living in the Lowcountry and all it has to offer with boating, beach, tennis, biking, and live music.
